Professor Hoda Abou shady, is a professor of nuclear and radiation physics. She is currently the vice dean of graduate studies at the faculty of nanotechnology in Cairo university. She is also a member of the presidential council of science and education since 2014.
She worked in usa as an assistant professor and received training in oakridge national lab on safety and security in usa, operation of nuclear power plants at darlington power plant in canada and the project cms at the laboratoire le prince ringuet at the ecole polytechnique in paris.
She also participated in introducing several laws and legislations for public benefit and scientific research .
