Dr. Olfa Mahjoub (female), Agricultural Engineer. She holds a PhD in Water Sciences (2009, University Montpellier 1, France). Associate Professor and Head of the Chemistry Laboratory for Water-Soil-Sludge at INRGREF with +19 years’ experience in wastewater management and reuse. She is dealing with wastewater reuse and pollutants, especially Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CECs) in the agricultural environment and working on cross-cutting topics e.g. social acceptability, gender, economic, institutional and environmental aspects related to wastewater reuse; SDG6 and its achievement. Recently, she was appointed Director of the Agricultural Research Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation at the Institution of Agricultural Higher Education and Research (IRESA). She is Principle Investigator (PI) of several international research projects. She is author and co-author of more than 50 international peer-reviewed papers (Google Scholar May 2020, Citations: 298; h-index: 10) with 8 edited book chapters and 11articles in peer-reviewed journals and +100 international communications. Guest editor of a Special Issue of Clean Journal- Soil, Air, Water “Emerging Pollutants in Irrigation Water: Origins, Fate, Risks, and Mitigation”, 43(9): 1271-1355. She is President of the Arab Association of Young Scientists (ArabWAYS) and member of several international networks.
